The structure of the environmental monitoring host is lightweight and convenient for machine mounted installation. A single sensor interface connected in series with the expansion module can access up to 8 different sensors. When multiple different sensors need to be installed for environmental monitoring, the expansion module acts as a bridge connecting the sensors in series.
