On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Wenchuan earthquake on May 12th, the "2018 China (Shenzhen) 5.12 National Tenth Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day" with the theme of "Taking Action to Reduce Disaster Risks Around Us" was held at the Shenzhen Citizen Center Square on May 12th. The event was hosted by the Municipal Disaster Reduction Commission, co organized by the Municipal Government, the Municipal Emergency Office, and the Municipal Disaster Reduction and Relief Federation. Various high-tech equipment for disaster prevention and reduction was exhibited in various ways, including physical dynamics, citizen interaction, practical exercises, and theoretical teaching, to impart disaster prevention and reduction knowledge.
